This book was published in the Juvenile Section of the Public Ledger on January 23, 1916 as uncut sheets to be cut and constructed by the child. Space on the title page is made for the child's name. Following the story the paper promotes other stories to appear in the Sunday edition of the Ledger. The last page includes instructions on assembly and facts about the Volland Edition of Mother Goose.
